A higher or lower T-shirt neckline?
Colour may catch your eye first, but the neckline is something you feel throughout the day. It affects the room around your neck and how the shirt looks underneath an open layer.
What does higher mean?
A higher crew neck sits closer to the base of your neck. That is different from a tight size. A shirt can have room across the chest while still having a close neckline. Assess the opening separately from the rest of the fit.
Try a lower collar too
If you prefer more room around your neck, try a model with a lower collar. Buying a larger size just for the neckline also changes the shoulders, width and length. A different model may be the better answer.
Move before deciding
Look ahead, turn your head and sit down. Does the collar still feel comfortable? Add your overshirt or cardigan. Sometimes it is the two necklines together that feel busy. Try opening the outer layer further before ruling out the shirt.
Across the Club 24 collection
The Freedom Fit Tee has a higher collar. The Freedom Fit Lite uses lighter cotton and a lower collar, so the difference is about more than weight. Compare the models and check the size guide for the rest of the garment. The neckline you enjoy wearing is a personal choice.
