Build a small T-shirt wardrobe you actually wear

Freedom Fit Tee Butter Yellow

Do not start with ten colours. Take out the trousers you wear most often. They make it easier to see which shirt adds something and which one mainly appeals in a photograph.

Choose one model first

Find a fit and fabric you enjoy. Wear that shirt with different trousers before ordering the same size in several colours. One successful fitting tells you more than five shades you have not tried yet.

Give each colour a purpose

A light tee with dark denim creates a different combination from a dark tee. White Smoke offers warm off-white; Sensational White is crisp white. You do not need both. If you already have a light colour you enjoy, consider whether an earthy shade such as Club Mocha would add more.

Include your washing routine

The number of shirts you need depends on how often you wear and wash them. A three-shirt packing formula says little if your week is different. List the occasions you actually dress for. Add a shirt when you can see where one is missing.

A second model can serve a different purpose

You do not have to buy every colour in the same model. The Freedom Fit Tee offers approximately 220 g/m² interlock cotton. The Lite is for those who prefer lighter cotton. The Essential Longsleeve adds long sleeves. Compare what you want to wear, rather than how many pieces your wardrobe can hold.
